As part of Disability Awareness Month in October, join ARHU Dean Stephanie Shonekan and panelists to learn about the experiences of ARHU community members with disabilities in an effort to foster greater understanding and awareness of resources and accommodations that are available or need to be expanded. 

This free and private UMD community event (open to current UMD students, faculty and staff) is sponsored by the College of Arts and Humanities Dean Stephanie Shonekan and Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs and Research Trevor Parry-Giles.

Requesting Disability Accommodations:

Please contact Katherine Brandt at kabrandt@umd.edu or 301-405-2095 at least one week prior to the event to request disability accommodations. In all situations, a good faith effort (up until the time of the event) will be made to provide accommodations.
